Drip Machine: how to brew it

1000 ml about 4¼ cups

That is a ratio of 1:17, if you would rather scale it.

1. Use 60 g of coffee to a litre of water.
2. Level the bed in the basket before you start it.
3. Take the jug off the hotplate once it has finished.

• It is ground for this brewer already. If it runs through too fast, use a little more coffee rather than reaching for a finer grind.
• The machine heats its own water, so the temperature is not yours to set.
• 80:20 coffee and chicory. It brews darker and faster than coffee alone, so pull it a touch short.
• Roasted 6 days ago, which is about as good as it gets.
